This scarf was a recent hand-made birthday gift. It was a completely new pattern to me, an interesting version of a cable stitch. The original pattern was twice this wide, but as I started it, I realized it was WAY too wide so I ripped it out and began again. It turned out very soft and should be quite warm! I love the color!
This is a close up of the cable stitch but I'm afraid it didn't show up very good in the pictures. It had a very nice texture.

I don't usually comment twice on the same post, but I love this scarf. Maybe it's the blue, maybe it's because it looks so soft and cozy and cuddly...? it's beautiful anyway.
