Our fabulous campfire! I LOVE campfires.

After convention, a few of us went camping for 10 days.....which is not nearly long enough! Oh how I love to camp!! We had perfect weather, warm enough for afternoon sunbathing, chilly enough to snuggle with the evening fire. I was sad to leave but after 30 loads of laundry......I'm glad all is put back to right! Warm running water....a novelty. :)

I took my camera along but didn't take it out of my bag one time. The credit for these lovely pics go to my wonderful camping buddy. Thank you!

Pelican Shores

I had the privilege of spending a few days at the beach with a dear friend....at one of my favorite motels. It's one of the smaller ones but right on the beach. Weather was perfect for long beach strolls, swimming in the pool, etc.

Project

I was finally able to finish this project that I started several months ago. Amazing how long a project takes when you have to sleep every row or so. ;) I am thankful to have it done and it has already been delivered to it's recipient.

A day at the river

A few weeks ago, I had some company and we spent an afternoon down at the river. Little sunbathing, swimming, lunching, resting, etc. Was so nice and restful! The bridge on the left is our new pedestrian bridge that goes from W. Salem over to Front Street. It is quite lovely!!!! When I have strength, I would love to take a bike ride!
