Low Country Boil down the center of the table.

For Dad's 60th birthday this year, we had a Low country boil. Potatoes, sausage, corn on the cob and shrimp cooked together (outside) in a big pot, seasoned with Old Bay Seasoning and a few cans of beer. Then we dumped it down the middle of the table. Each person got a utensil from the basket....then had to eat with ONLY the utensil. No hands, no plates. It was very easy clean-up. :)

We did a similar meal with spaghetti last year. If that wasn't hilarious! Try scooping spaghetti noodles with a ladle! But lotsa fun! I don't have to let my imagination travel too far to hear your dad's infectious laugh! Makes me smile just to think of it.
