May Day always seems like a happy day to me. I remember making flower baskets at school out of construction paper, bringing it home and surprising an unsuspecting neighbor. Putting the basket at their door....ringing the doorbell and running away. Anticipating their joy at seeing the surprise bouquet.
Today my special May Day bouquet consists of beautiful, luscious pink dogwood blooms and white lilacs! They smile at me....offering constant get well encouragement.
