From inside the house.
One weekend, several of us went to the dugout. To get to it, we had drive through some of the wild horse sections....oh it was lovely! :) I won't bore you with more pictures since I took so MANY of them and already posted some earlier! Anyway, we drove as far as we could, then walked the rest of the distance. The dugout is where Ann's grandfather was born. It was around the year 1895. I was VERY thankful that it was winter, for you wouldn't catch me out there in summer.....it's a rattle snake pit. As it was, it took LOTS of convincing for me to believe that there wouldn't be any snakes! It was truly beautiful. I love the rock "art" of building. Made well to stand up this long....through many hard winters and summers!
